Confirmation invitation letter

Dear Parents,

I am excited about having your child in the 2005 confirmation class! This year’s class members are Chris Cummins, Whitten Graves, John Hendren and Jade Henry. We will have fun and learn together.

I will teach the class in the Session Room for seven weeks each Wednesday from 6:00 - 7:00 P.M. beginning on Ash Wednesday, February 9 and concluding on the Wednesday before Easter, March 23. After each confirmation class your child may remain for the Wednesday night youth gathering in the Youth House from 7:00 - 8:00 P.M.

After completing the six classes and assigned homework, the class will meet with the Session on Wednesday, March 23 in the Session Room. You are invited to join them when they are examined by the Session. Members of the confirmation class who choose to confirm their faith will be confirmed during the 11:00 A.M. worship service on Easter Sunday, March 27.

Please read the enclosed schedule for an overview of the instructions for students and the material we will cover. This is your child's time to confirm their faith in Jesus Christ. Call me if you have any questions.
